Eight Regency Received 1,800 Subscriptions
Sun Hung Kai Properties has received over 1,800 subscriptions for the first 118 flats in the 321-unit, 25-floor Eight Regency on Leung Tak Street in Tuen Mun that will start selling on Thursday. The flats have been priced by the developer from HK$3.96 million to HK$6.52 million, with saleable areas ranging from 328 square feet to 497 square feet. 74 of the flats up for sale this week are one-bedroom homes and the other 44 two-bedroom units with an average price of HK$12,844 per saleable square foot.

Easter Second Home Deals Up 25%
Midland Realty reported 25 transactions at 10 major housing estates during the holiday period from April 14 to 17 April. That was up 25% compared to the corresponding period last year. On Hong Kong Island, Taikoo Shing in Quarry Bay and South Horizons in Ap Lei Chau each saw 2 transactions. In Kowloon, three transactions were recorded at Mei Foo Sun Chuen in Lai Chi Kok. Centaline Property counted 24 transactions during the four-day break, including Kingswood Villas in Tin Shui Wai and City One in Sha Tin, which each recorded 6 transactions.
