Record-breaking Forms Distributed for new HOS Flats on 1st Day
The Housing Authority started to distribute application forms for the latest batch of Home Ownership Scheme flats in its office in Lok Fu yesterday morning, and has already distributed about 40,000 forms which is the highest record ever. Wong Kwan, former chairman of the Federation of Public Housing Estates, said he expects the total allotment of 2,093 units – mainly located in Choi Hung and Mui Wo – to be oversubscribed up to 50 times. This new batch of HOS flats includes 1,358 units at Choi Hing Court in Choi Hung, 699 units at Ngan Wai Court and Ngan Ho Court, both in Mui Wo on Lantau Island, and 36 rescinded units previously launched in other areas.

Cullinan West Received 6,300 Subscriptions
Two new projects cut off subscriptions yesterday. Cullinan West in Nam Cheong MTR Station has received about 6,300 subscriptions for the 312 units rolling out for sale tomorrow. Seanomara has received almost 800 subscriptions for the 66 units putting on sale today. Meanwhile, three transactions were recorded in this Ma On Shan new project. A four-room 1,661-square-foot unit was sold at a discounted price of HK$34.67 million, or HK$20,874 per square foot. It sets the highest cost per square foot in the project and also in Ma On Shan. On the other hand, Vibe Centro has received 1,200 subscriptions and will close for subscriptions today.

MONTEREY Closed for Sale
Ricky Wong Kwong-yiu, managing director of Wheelock Properties said the company is very satisfied with the sales of its Tseung Kwan O project MONTEREY. He said the company is optimistic of the district’s future that it would reserve the remaining flats for future sales. 645 units from the project have been sold since it first launched for sale last Friday.
