Worldwide House Floor Sold on Record Price
A mainland property firm has sold the 16,693-square-foot 11th floor of Worldwide House in Central for HK$601 million. That means HK$36,003 per square foot, making it the most expensive office in the building in terms of a square-foot price. The pattern fits Central district remaining the world’s priciest office area, figures from commercial real estate services firm CBRE show. Prime office rates stand at US$303 (HK$2,357) per square foo annually, with London‘s West End second (US$213) and New York‘s Midtown Manhattan third (US$203).
