As the primary commercial hub in Hong Kong, Central benefits from a comprehensive transportation network. The Central MTR Station serves as an interchange for four MTR lines, connecting several major thoroughfares, including Harcourt Road, Des Voeux Road Central, Queen's Road Central, and Connaught Road Central.

These roads host multiple bus, minibus, and tram routes that link to various districts in Hong Kong. Furthermore, the Central Ferry Piers offer multiple ferry routes to different outlying islands, as well as certain routes to downtown areas such as Tsim Sha Tsui and Hung Hom, providing residents with diverse transportation options.

Residential Distribution

Residential developments in Central are primarily situated in the Mid-Levels, characterized by their higher elevations and proximity to several large parks, including the Pok Fu Lam Country Park, Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens, and Hong Kong Park, with some estates offering lush green vistas.
