Tin Hau

Welcome to Tin Hau

Neighbourhood Features

Tin Hau, located to the east of Causeway Bay, is named after the centuries-old Tin Hau Temple in the area. It is bordered by Victoria Park to the west and is in close proximity to Braemar Hill to the east, boasting ample greenery and creating a relatively tranquil ambiance compared to the hustle and bustle of Causeway Bay.

However, Tin Hau embodies a balance between tranquility and vibrancy, offering a comprehensive range of community facilities, including the Hong Kong Central Library, swimming pool, sports ground, playground, and the Causeway Bay Market, catering to the basic living needs of residents. The area also hosts a variety of local shops that cater to the daily life requirements of the residents.

Although the area is primarily characterized by smaller shops, its close proximity to Causeway Bay and Tai Hang allows residents to enjoy a diverse array of restaurants and cafes within a 10-15 minute walk. Residents can also access major shopping malls in Causeway Bay, offering a wealth of consumer choices. Tin Hau is also renowned for its popular food street. In terms of transportation, in addition to the Tin Hau MTR Station, there are several bus and minibus routes along King's Road, connecting various districts in Hong Kong, Kowloon, and the New Territories.

Residential Distribution

The overall residential density in the area is not high, with residential buildings scattered around the Tin Hau Station. Some of the private buildings in this area include Aroma Court, Chuang's-On-The-Park, Dragon Heart Court, Dragon Pride, Dragon View, Dragon View Garden, Ernest Court, Grand Seaview Heights, King Fai Court, King Yu Court, Kuisum Court, Serene Court, The Pavilia Hill, Victoria Tower, Viking Garden and Park Towers.

Among these, The Pavilia Hill boasts relatively new buildings, while Park Towers offers the most convenient location, being the first luxury residential project built over the railway in Hong Kong.
