Neighbourhood Features
Pok Fu Lam is situated at the western end of the Southern District of Hong Kong Island, boasting picturesque seafront views. It is a residential area predominantly inhabited by middle to high-income individuals, characterized by the development of medium to low-density buildings, with the University of Hong Kong serving as a local landmark. In line with the redevelopment of Wah Fu Estate, the government has reserved land in Pok Fu Lam for the construction of public housing, and has implemented improvements to transportation facilities, including road widening, the construction of covered walkways, and the installation of elevators.
The area is home to Pok Fu Lam Country Park and Pok Fu Lam Reservoir, providing abundant green spaces and serving as popular destinations for outdoor activities.
