Sheung Wan is located in the northern part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island, known as one of the commercial districts with a reputation for dried seafood, traditional Chinese medicine, and antique shops. In its early years, Sheung Wan played a significant role in the shipment trade. As the local economy evolved, it facilitated the development of various industries. Residential developments are concentrated near Queen's Road West and the Mid-Levels area. The residential buildings along Queen's Road West, situated between Sai Ying Pun and Sheung Wan MTR stations, offer convenient access to the railway.
