Tsuen Wan

Welcome to Tsuen Wan

Neighbourhood Features

Tsuen Wan is located in the southwest of the New Territories, across from Tsing Yi Island, separated by the Rambler Channel. Since the 1950s, it has developed into a center for the textile and light industries. Later, it became the first satellite town in the New Territories, undergoing extensive land reclamation to build various public housing estates and essential infrastructure.

Tsuen Wan currently has three railway stations - Tsuen Wan Station, Tai Wo Hau Station, and Tsuen Wan West Station, providing convenient transportation. The area is dotted with public housing estates, subsidized housing, and private residential developments.

Tsuen Wan is also known as the "Sky City," with several shopping malls and residential estates connected by elevated walkways. Additionally, the revitalized Nan Fung Cotton Mills on Chai Wan Kok Street, while preserving the area's original characteristics, has transformed into a new artistic and creative space, contributing to the cultural atmosphere. Furthermore, the district offers numerous recreational facilities, including Sha Tsui Road Playground, Tsuen Wan Town Hall, and the waterfront promenade, making it a well-rounded community.

Residential Distribution

Residential areas in the district are concentrated in the city center, Tsuen King Circuit, Tai Wo Hau and the coastal areas. In the city center, residential properties benefit from comprehensive amenities, proximity to Tsuen Wan Station, and a plethora of restaurants and shopping malls. Private developments include Luk Yeung Sun Chuen, Discovery Park, Tsuen Kam Centre, Brighton Place, Tsuen Cheong Centre, and Vision City. Near Yeung Uk Road, you'll find developments like Chelsea Court, Indi Home, and H CUBE.

Tsuen King Circuit offers a quieter atmosphere, relatively distant from the bustling city center. Private residential developments in this area include Allway Garden, Tsuen Tak Gardens, Tsuen King Garden, Tsuen Wan Centre, Summit Terrace, and Kam Fung Garden.

Tai Wo Hau mainly features public housing estates and private developments near the MTR Tai Wo Hau Station, including New Haven, Tsuen Wan Garden, Wealthy Garden, Kwai Yin Court, and Tai Wo Hau Estate.

Coastal residential estates enjoy breathtaking sea views, particularly near Tsuen Wan West Station. Developments such as Riviera Gardens, The Pavilia Bay, Ocean Pride, City Point and The Aurora offer stunning waterfront living.
