The foreign name of Hoi Pian Hui "Papillons" comes from the French word "butterfly", which is a metaphor for the six buildings of the building to be like the three pairs of wings of a butterfly, dancing gracefully; while the Chinese name comes from the fact that it is built near the "sea" and is located on the south side of Tseung Kwan O. The riverside location overlooks the Lantang Strait and the East China Sea of ​​Hong Kong Island, "merging" the advantages of both sides of the river.
