The Austin is located at 8 Wui Cheung Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, above the MTR Austin Station. It is jointly developed by New World Development, Wheelock and MTR. It consists of four residential buildings, each with 21 to 25 floors, five elevators and two wings each. The residential buildings range from the 6th and 1st floors to part of the top floor, the 25th to 30th floor, with 2 to 5 households in each wing, totaling 576 units. The units have a saleable area of approximately 356 to 3,321 square feet, with a floor height of 3.15 or 3.5 metres and open-plan layouts ranging from five bedrooms. Every household has a kitchen, balcony and work platform, and most units are equipped with window sills. The project mainly consists of two- and three-bedroom units, accounting for approximately 65% of the total units. It was completed in September 2014. The estate has a clubhouse located from the basement to the 5th floor, with a total area of nearly 60,000 square feet. The clubhouse on the 3rd floor covers an area of approximately 36,500 square feet and provides an outdoor swimming pool. The total area of the public garden recreation areas on the ground floor and some of the blocks is approximately 21,800 square feet, and more than 30% of the development project is landscaped area. The car parks are located on Basement 2, Basement 1 and the ground floor, providing 243 parking spaces for residents, 25 motorcycle parking spaces and 3 accessible parking spaces. There is a dedicated entrance and exit on the ground floor leading to the MTR Austin Station. Residents can enter and exit by tapping the card reader with their registered Octopus card. The primary school network is in Area 31, and the secondary school district is in Yau Tsim Mong.
