Get your drink on at Shelter Rooftop Bar

Located in Hysan Place in Causeway Bay, the food at Shelter may be pricey, but everyone can enjoy their happy hour at their outdoor patio, with deals from 6pm-9:30pm. The atmosphere is similar to RED bar at IFC rooftop, but with less people. Since it’s less well known, you’ll get more space and peace and quiet over there. If you stay later in the evening, you may even get a chance to listen to the smooth sounds of the live jazz band.

Eat seafood on a boat at Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter

You don’t have to be a millionaire to eat top notch seafood on a boat. At Typhoon Shelter in Causeway Bay, the old school Chinese fishing boats at Shun Kee will take you back to basics and remind you that life can be simple, as long as there’s good food to accompany you. Do keep in mind that there is a $300 rental boat fee and a minimum spending of $800 per boat, so we recommend going with a small group of people.

Bask in the seaview at Hooray Bar & Restaurant

If space is what you’re looking for in Causeway Bay, you’ll definitely find it at Hooray Bar & Restaurant. Located in World Trade Centre, this bar and restaurant claims to have the biggest alfresco terrace in Hong Kong. Have a drink or two at Hooray Bar & Restaurant and bask in the magnetic seaview – if you’re there in the late afternoon, might as well stay a while and admire the beauty of the sunset.
