A Labour of Love

The Italian owner originally purchased this house with a view to living here with his family. He employed a celebrated architect, Filippo Coltro, who stripped it back to its bare bones. Great care and attention was then paid to the choosing of the lighting, the kitchen equipment, the built-in and freestanding furniture and the artwork. Plumbing and electrics were all brought into the 21st century as well as double glazed windows and solar panels. All-in-all, the project took two years to complete.
