Home Sales Rose Significantly Over Weekend
40 sale and purchase transactions were recorded over the weekend in the secondary market in 100 major housing estates. The number, the highest in seven months, marked a significant increase of 10% from the previous weekend. Out of the 40, 11 were at Kingswood Villas in Tin Shui Wai. A 442-square-foot two-room unit was sold at HK$4.168 million or HK$9,430 per square foot, setting a new record of highest cost per square foot in Kingswood Villas. It is already the third time breaking the record price in 18 days.

Alto Residences To Launch 61 more Flats
In the primary market, Lai Sun Development and Empire Group launched 61 additional flats in their joint venture Alto Residences project in Tseung Kwan O. The average discounted price per saleable square foot was HK$20,797, up 57% from HK$13,200 per saleable square foot in the first price list that they issued last October. On the other hand, K Wah International has reportedly received over 300 subscriptions for K City‘s another batch of 68 units to be launched for sale tomorrow. Meanwhile, Henderson Land uploaded new sales arrangement of Eden Manor in Fanling, launching two new units for tender this Thursday.
