This is an ideal ‘week-ender’ for one person or a couple, although we are a family of three, and have loved spending relaxing times here. Our apartment is a large open-plan room with L-shaped bar unit creating a kitchen-dining area (with sink, electric stove and storage), creating a sitting-room in the front, and sleeping area in the back, with good storage. Separate toilet and shower. Fenced balcony at front, outside a large sitting-room window overlooking a large village courtyard. South Bay beach is 100 metres to the side. We loved week-ends and longer holidays in our hideaway, but, sadly, we now need to leave HK. Peng Chau has a friendly, village atmosphere. Enjoy its restaurants and bars, its beautiful walks, its beaches and leisure centre. Fast, frequent ferries to HK make it easy to live an island and a city life. For this reason, it is a popular commuting location, and is certainly a great low-cost way to get into the HK housing market.
